The fact that humans can actually enjoy sex and orgasm is an indication of how powerful it is in the larger, spiritual sense. The body and the senses are tools that can help us find a higher spiritual understanding. We must understand this powerful force and learn to control and 'use' it in a way that we may connect soul to soul. If we can accept that our body is not perfect and that it is a reflection of our individual personality, we can experience sex that lasts much more than those five minutes. Half the problems we experience are because we feel we are not physically attractive or that we are lacking in some way. Such insecurities lower our self-confidence, and consequently affects the libido, disturbs the mental balance and our behavior towards others in general. Anyone can drive fast sex; driving slow is more difficult. Similarly, lovemaking demands that we understand our physical and mental makeup, and be more sensitive to our body and mind.
