Your own brain knows a lot more than you think it does. Infact, Science tells us that when we use our unconscious mind, we make better difficult decisions that make us happier and more satisfied.
There is so much going on, there is no way we can think it all through. Learn to tap yoour unconscuious mind and you can expand your human potential.

From my back deck, I look down onto a beach where lover’s young and old alike enjoy each other. It’s nice to see couples flirting and teasing each other for attention.
Now maybe it’s a guy thing – men so easily out of touch with their feelings, but some of my art friends – you know the intuitive types who really go with the flow simply lose it with the ladies.
Watch carefully and even though they will tell you they are following their intuition they simply are not.
Perhaps you can relate to this situation. As I watch them, they astart off and within half a second they correct themselves as if a second brain took over.
I hused to make the same mistake. I corrected myself so quickly I thought I was following my intuition when I wasn’t.
Of course, my friends walk up to my house complaining, guy or girl the solutions the same.

Why your brain need intuitions
Your brain has three main divisions. The so called reptilian brian that drives your motor functions, and lust; the limbic system controlling the rest of our emotions like love, and happiness as well as your intuition. Then there is the rational neocortex controlling thought and language.
Your head and heart and gut seem to argue in their own language and few know how to translate their fighting voices.
Like, my art friends, even people who do listen to their intuition can misunderstand the message.
Ironic really. My art friends are so naturally intuitive – except when dating.
So I tell them to date the same way they paint.
We should live every moment of our lives as though we were sentenced to repeat it over and over, forever and ever, for all eternity. We should live each moment as though we were creating an eternal, unchangeable work of art, i quote from a philosopher.
The point is, an artist uses his intuition as he sculpts, so why not ‘sculpt’ his love life and follow intuition?
We know that many famous scientists used intuition to hel make tjheirdiscoveroies. But they did not just rely on instinct. The more they knew, the better their hunches became.
In other words you can – and should – train your intuition.
When you cross a street, your intuitive mind takes over without much logical thought but try and describe how you did it and your logical brain takes over.
Levels of Sexual Attraction
It may be politically in correct but you when you see a great looking guy or girl your brain goes ape.
Men are hard-wired to look for
- a clear, symmetrical face
- a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7
A womans curvey bust andshapely hips suggest estrogen and fertility. A curvaceous woman is more than may a turn on for guys – hourglass figures are a drug that triggers the brains pleasure centers the same as drink and drugs.
Alone, being skinny does not have the same effect on the brain.
Women are hardwired to look for….
Meanwhile,the Archives of Sexual Behavior reveals women are hardwired to muscular men whose shoulders measure 1.6 times the size of their waists.
There is more to dating than an initial reptilian split second attraction.— you can be blinded someones phsique, and find yourself waking up to a dork or the devil woman.
Attractiveness is so central to our biology that we can easily presume other good qualities about a person because they look great.
Called the halo effect the first traits we recognize in other people then influences how we the interpret and percieve other traits because of our expectations.
Your intuive brain is already working for you to find Miss or Mr Right. But rhe girl or guy you dreamed of in high school may not be the type you settle down with.
Meanwhile, there is another problem that gets ion the road of finding true love.
Experiential Bias, Pheronomes and over simplifcations
Science tells us that we cannot percieve reality without some previous experience to latch on too. If we can’t relate to something we simply miss it.
We judge people because of past experiential bias and the ghosts of the past turn us against people who remind us of our ex or that jerk who abused us.
Don’t rust your over simplifications or the broad catagorres you dump people into.
Personal appeal can decieve us.
That girl with a beautiful smile can really turn a guy on, but may be a witch in disguise. The muscle bound hero may turn out to be a violent thug.
Then there is the biological connection subconsciously attracting you with pheronomes.
Pheromones are odorless chemicals that we sense through smell. They carry your genetic imprint and your brains super compuiter quickly assesses your genetic match.Sending subtle messages of ‘yep go for it‘ – or ‘hmmm I’m not so sure about this guy – maybe not.’
Finally your limbic brain can assess a person’s body language at the speed of light. It recalls millions of past experiences and images, from movies, life events and cultural expectations.
But what typically happens.
Guys go to a bar, much as a bird in the jungle, and start DISPLAY signals so that women will choose him.
Girls arent peacocks.
It’s just too bad guys aren’t taught to LOOK for signals.
Instead men lift weights too look like Adonis, work their buts off hopingthat they can drive the latest four wheel chick magnet, learn a hundred pickup lines be Mr Perfect and feel let dpown because it didn’t work.
Women RARELY, if ever approach a guy.
A man in touch with his intuition can ead the subtle signals she is sending.
Of course, while a women can choose to send a tell tale sign, the tell tale sings are unconscious.
That twitch in her eye, shifting in her seat, or maybe talking more than normal.
….. and it takes a strong intuition to pick it up
Your limbic brain can read a persons face and body movements faster than yopu can ever read a book on body language. Accessing millions of stored images and experiences
Because of this two way unconscious communication, some people can know they are suited to each other instantly. Tragically, most people ignore these signals.
However, many allow our self desterucive biases to control our assumptions
Scarred by our past we alow our intuition to be over ridden and don’t stop to listen the infinite romantic possibilities that life opens to us.
