We live in a marketer world. Marketing is everywhere and advertises attempt to seduce you to their products, flirtatiously taking you on an emotional journey that connects their product to fulfilling your needs.
So why not market yourself for love?
Now before you think I’m advocating random hookups with any one at a bar let it be clear I’m all for intimacy. Sure some people look for pickups to satisfy a neurological sexual itch. However, many people have underestimated the power of dopamine and serotonins effect in bonding a person to someone the morning after.
However I’m about choice, improving my options and not settling for less, and seduction techniques can give you choice.
Seduction techniques involve taking a person on an emotional journey that excites them and emotionally fulfils them. A good seducer/seductress gets in the other persons head so that they will want more of you.
The principle work in a relationship – why not make you hubby want you more? – or in obtaining a partner. Nor do they require you to be false to your core values.
Seduction is an interpersonal skill set that is not just sexual but can enhance your life.
So what is your image?
Imagine if you were in your fantasy. Would you be passionately embracing a rock star or a business tycoon? A sportsman or an artist?
Take control of your image and develop your own brand. What qualities would I exhibit if I were my ideal self?
Imagine your favorite sexual persona? Who in history do you wish you could emulate? Do you want to be Marilyn Monroe? Cindy Crawford? Claudia Schiffer? Or perhaps Hugh Grant? Arnie or Brad Pitt?
Analyze what it is you like about these people. Really, dissect it? Is it there speech patterns? A cute gesture, or flirtive glance? Confident body language? What part of their persona can you assimilate into your identity. This trait must become part of you. Find what it is about these role models that will inspire you and excite you. There’s nothing worse than someone trying to copy cat an invariably taking on an exaggerated persona.
Anything from silk lingerie to cheap undies can be fetishized. If you feel sexy in great lingerie wear it. If you like the tough working girl persona wear that.
Ultimately, you are creating an image to be noticed and to feel sexy in yourself. From there you can market yourself and start to pick and chose by finding out who you have a common ground.
In marketing you can’t be everything to everybody. It’s the same in romance. Wander around in a string bikini and you will get noticed – but is your target guy every red hot male on the beach or do you have a certain type of guy in mind? I ultimately want a guy interested in me and my just my bust size.
There is something hot in recognizing sexual energy. If you are with a guy and there’s a cute blonde in the corner, point it out. A quick comment like “She looks nice in that dress” will show you are not threatened. Besides chances are he would look anyway, so get in first. You show your confident, elevate his estimation of yourself worth and suddenly he has little reason to look.
You marketing yourself and showing you have value. As a person of value, you also have the strength to say no and mean it.
Guy’s may fantasize about the movie star look, but ultimately they want a life with a girl who values herself.
I think I’d rather have a guy give me all the attention anyway.
