A Pensive Moment by bigquix 601x1024 Symptom Recital

I do not like my state of mind;
I’m bitter, querulous, unkind.
I hate my legs, I hate my hands,
I do not yearn for lovelier lands.
I dread the dawn’s recurrent light;
I hate to go to bed at night.
I snoot at simple, earnest folk.
I cannot take the gentlest joke.
I find no peace in paint or type.
My world is but a lot of tripe.
I’m disillusioned, empty-breasted.
For what I think, I’d be arrested.
I am not sick, I am not well.
My quondam dreams are shot to hell.
My soul is crushed, my spirit sore;
I do not like me any more.
I cavil, quarrel, grumble, grouse.
I ponder on the narrow house.
I shudder at the thought of men….
I’m due to fall in love again.

Loving What You Hate In A Lover

Does your partner do something that really annoys you – I means REALLY upsets you?

Or perhaps its one of your children that tears at the foundation of you and your partners relationship.

Other people, especially those closes to us, tend to reflect the shadow side of our personality – the side of yourself that you deny or refuse to face up too.

When you learn to love and integrate these same annoying characteristics in yourself suddenly your whole world, your love and passion feels free and light.

No wonder women are disillusioned about sex

Like sleeping beauty our sexuality awaits a Prince Charming. Yet many wish they had waited longer rather than feeling coerced into that special night. 30 % of all women did not want, or were forced to have, their first intercourse.

No wonder women are disillusioned about sex.

Pre-teen we here some facts of life and at once think ‘yuck that’s gross – er… tell me more.”

Then the blood of puberty sets us on a course of physical awkward on a path to hopeful lusciousness.

The Purpose of Loves Contradictions

“Sometimes we seducers don’t want the object of our seduction to feel good — we want them to feel nervous, or worried, or jealous, or confused, or frustrated. But the difference is that we only arouse those feelings in order to make the relief that comes afterward that much more powerful” wrote Arden.
